LARGE 1000 MW RECEIVER

 COMPATIBILITY:    Works with all Dragon Link V3 systems.

The 1000 mW Large receiver will work with ALL V3 Advanced systems, Large, Slim, and Slim No Bluetooth and give you full long range telemetry and features.  You MUST have the same firmware version on both your Transmitter and Receiver for them to communicate.  If your 1000 mW Large receiver was purchased separately from your transmitter, it very likely has a different firmware version in it and will not work.   Simply download the latest V3 firmware in the links above and load the latest V3 firmware into your Transmitter and receiver for V3 operation.

 

1.   BIND RECEIVER:    Put your V3 Transmitter into BINDING MODE ( HOLD MENU BUTTON WHEN YOU APPLY POWER UNTIL LED A = GREEN ).

2.  POWER ON RECEIVER:   The RED LED will indicate power, and the GREEN and BLUE LED's must flash alternately to indicate a successful bind.

3.  REPOWER THE SYSTEM:   In normal operation all 3 LED's should be lit solid.  RED = Power,   GREEN = Receiver Running,  BLUE = Good RF Link to Transmitter

MICRO RECEIVER LED INDICATIONS:

SOLID RED LED =  POWER TO RECEIVER

SOLID GREEN LED =  Micro Controller Chip in receiver running

SOLID BLUE LED =  Valid RC signal to receiver  ( BLUE LED will flash when packets are being lost, or in very weak signal conditions )

BLUE AND GREEN FLASHING ALTERNATELY:   BINDING MODE, SUCCESSFUL BIND

BLUE AND GREEN FLASHING TOGETHER:  HARDWARE ERROR CODE.   5 Flashes = Over Voltage to receiver, 8.5 volts is maximum voltage.   4 or 3 Flashes = Hardware Error, contact support by email.

 

 

GPS and Telemetry.

The Dragon Link Micro receiver is a full telemetry receiver, and will send telemetry about 10 Kilometers range with stock antennas.  There are several different telemetry options you can use:  

GPS TELEMETRY:  Connect any standard GPS to your Micro Receiver for full GPS position displayed on a map, and displays, altitude, course, and speed.   Map and data is displayed on a Tablet, phone or laptop using Mission Planner / Droid Planner 2.  You can connect GPS via the UEXP port or any of the servo pins as shown in the pictures below. 

EAGLE TREE VECTOR:  Provides FULL FLIGHT DISPLAY with artificial horizon, Position on Map, and full GPS information.   Displayed on a Tablet, Phone, Or Laptop using Mission Planner / Droid Planner.  See the special Eagle Tree Vector setup section for full details.
